The Truth About Violence

(Syndicated Educational Series)

Brad teamed with an outstanding documentary crew to take eight violent teens from inner-city L.A. to Colorado’s mountains on a month-long journey exploring the roots of their violence. A key moment was visiting Columbine High School, meeting those affected by the deadliest school shooting at the time. This documentary, the fifth in The Teen Files series, helped earn two Primetime Emmys and the TV Academy’s highest honor, the Governor’s Award.

The Naughty Kitchen

Brad co-created, sold, and produced The Naughty Kitchen with Chef Blythe Beck—an eight-episode series for NBCUniversal’s Oxygen. The show featured a bold Dallas chef whose fearless style redefined food TV. Alongside producer Brandy Menefee, Brad helped craft a high-energy culinary series centered on unforgettable characters, boldly challenging and expanding the image of women in male-dominated professions like executive chefs, embodying the network’s motto: “Live Out Loud.”

Siegfried & Roy : The Miracle

Hosted by Maria Shriver, Brad produced this acclaimed NBC primetime special featuring Siegfried & Roy’s first in-depth interview after the tiger attack that ended their Las Vegas show. The hour-long broadcast offered a rare, thoughtful look at their lives, legacy, and resilience—delivering a major ratings boost for NBC.

Lula Washington

Commissioned by California First Lady Maria Shriver, Brad produced a powerful profile of Lula Washington and her Dance Theater Foundation, which has uplifted South L.A. youth for over 40 years through discipline, creativity, and hope. This story helped inspire women at the California Women’s Conference—the largest gathering of its kind at the time—amplifying voices and fueling a movement for purpose, empowerment, and lasting change.

Born Behind Bars

Embedded with incarcerated mothers and staff, Brad helped shape A&E’s Born Behind Bars, highlighting the Wee Ones Nursery Program at Indiana Women’s Prison. Founded in 2008, it lets select inmates raise newborns inside a maximum-security facility, fostering bonding and reducing recidivism. The series brought national attention to this rare path to healing. Brad remains connected to many women now thriving outside the prison’s walls and raising their children with hope.

Brad produced a gripping History Channel hour exploring the Mayan Calendar prophecy and doomsday fears. Blending dramatic storytelling with science-based facts, the episode profiled some of the 3 to 4 million Americans preparing for doomsday scenarios. Brad crafted a compelling narrative that went beyond sensationalism, inviting viewers to reflect on our fears and what they reveal about human nature and resilience.

Hidden Victims: Children of Domestic Violence

Brad co-produced Hidden Victims, a powerful documentary exposing the lasting impact of domestic violence on children who witness it. Through raw stories, the film gave voice to these often-overlooked survivors. Created with domestic violence organizations nationwide, it sparked a vital national conversation about the urgent need for support, healing, and interventions that break the cycle for good.

The series explored personal stories—including a couple’s sperm donor journey and a wife’s emotional reunion with her estranged father—offering viewers an authentic look at the complexities of building a life together.
