The Truth About Violence

(Syndicated Educational Series)

Brad teamed with an outstanding documentary crew to take eight violent teens from inner-city L.A. to Colorado’s mountains on a month-long journey exploring the roots of their violence. A key moment was visiting Columbine High School, meeting those affected by the deadliest school shooting at the time. This documentary, the fifth in The Teen Files series, helped earn two Primetime Emmys and the TV Academy’s highest honor, the Governor’s Award.

Brad co-created, sold, and produced The Naughty Kitchen with Chef Blythe Beck—an eight-episode series for NBCUniversal’s Oxygen. The show featured a bold Dallas chef whose fearless style redefined food TV. Alongside producer Brandy Menefee, Brad helped craft a high-energy culinary series centered on unforgettable characters, boldly challenging and expanding the image of women in male-dominated professions like executive chefs, embodying the network’s motto: “Live Out Loud.”

Embedded with incarcerated mothers and staff, Brad helped shape A&E’s Born Behind Bars, highlighting the Wee Ones Nursery Program at Indiana Women’s Prison. Founded in 2008, it lets select inmates raise newborns inside a maximum-security facility, fostering bonding and reducing recidivism. The series brought national attention to this rare path to healing. Brad remains connected to many women now thriving outside the prison’s walls and raising their children with hope.

Brad produced a gripping History Channel hour exploring the Mayan Calendar prophecy and doomsday fears.
